	What is a name squeeze page?

A name squeeze page is a short web page that contains an opt-in box and a compelling list of benefits a visitor to the page will receive if they "opt-in" to your list and give you a name and eMail address.

Typically, a name squeeze page prevents visitors from going to the next page or to view the benefits you promise to share with them unless they "opt-in." That's why it's called a "name squeeze" page, because it "squeezes" the name and eMail address out of someone before they can view your website, product, special offer, list of benefits or #1 secret to _______.
