Can we say, BORRRRRING! Plain text and paragraphs that run on and on, page after page 'til the very end. No breaks, no gradients, no boxes, no divider lines, no bullets, no lists, no nuttin'!

Readers will often leaf through the pages of a book searching for interesting sections to read before they buy it. You can help them read your book faster by making sections in your book jump off the page with very special layout design features.

Of course, while you want the reader to grab your book, you need to have your book grab the reader! Even book buyers will SKIM pages within a book to learn what's inside it before buying it. So, why not help readers, whoever they are, to choose your book? Check this out ...

What many authors tend to forget is to make proper use of their book as a marketing tool for other products and services they might have for sale. As readers hold your book in their hands, if they liked what they read, they'd love to learn more about you, how they can contact you, what other products/services you may have that can help them, etc.

Don't waste the opportunity to introduce them to other products and services you might have to offer by not utilizing the BACK PAGES in your book to promote such things! I always make sure to include some or all of the following type pages in all of my books and my clients' books.
